NEC Classic Motor Show - 10th to 12th of November 2017 - Hall 2 Stand 550

Jaguar XK150 3.8 S barn findThe Twyford Moors team are getting ready for the NEC Classic Motor Show 2017. This is aways a fantastic event and every year we try to have something exciting and different on our stand. This year is no exception! Along with several interesting Jaguar XKs for sale we will have a very special XK150 on our stand.

The XK150 in question is a very rare, orignal UK right hand drive Jaguar XK150 3.8 S drophead coupé. This car was last seen in public on our stand at the NEC in 2015 as a wreck. Back in November 2015 the Twyford Moors team had recently discovered this XK150 in a barn. We have reached a very interesting point in the restoration process where the car is a rolling chassis with all its suspension built up and the rebuilt engine and gearbox fitted to the chassis. It is a great opportunity for us to show the amount of work that goes into a car which is later covered up by the body. By showing a car at this stage we are able to demonstrate that great care and attention to detail are taken at every stage of our restorations.

Jaguar C-Type replica by ProteusIn addition to the XK150 3.8 S and three other XKs for sale we will be providing a C-Type replica for the Jaguar Enthusiast Club stand. This C-Type is the first of two tubular chassis cars built inn the early eighties by founder of Proteus, Jim Marland, and was the show model depicted in the original Proteus sales brochure. This C-Type was completed with all-aluminium bodywork and the rear sections were braced with alloy stiffeners as per the 1953 Le Mans winning C-Type. Please visit the JEC stand to see this stunning car.

As if this wasn't enough we will also be looking forward to XK70 at Shelsey Walsh. Twyford Moors are working closely with the XK Club on what promises to be a fantastic celebration of the 70th anniversary of the XK120. We will have information and brochure for this fantastic event on our stand at the NEC so please visit our stand to find out more.

Nik, Ian and Harry will be on the Twyford Moors stand across the full NEC weekend so please come to discuss restoration, sales, maintenance or any other aspect of classic Jaguars. Hall 2 stand 550 located near the Jaguar Enthusiast Club and Silverstone Auction.
