Jaguar XK140 DHC RHD 1955 - SOLD

This Jaguar XK140 drophead coupe was fully restored by Twyford Moors to the highest standard and was completed in 2012. It is an oringinal UK, right hand drive car having been sold by the famous Appleyard dealership in Leeds to J. Newsome & Sons of Batley in Yorkshire.

This car is very well known in the XK world having been restored for Tony Hall who is a regular contributor to the XK Gazette. He documented the restoration of the car from start to finish and this was published in a series of articles in the XK Gazette all of which are included in the cars history file. As such the car has an unusually vivid record of its restoration.

The car was extensively upgraded during the restoration for modern use. This is an exquisitely smart car which is show ready and has also been built to be used. This XK is ideally suited to touring and has been maintained to the highest standard since restoration.
