E-Type 60 at Shelsley Walsh – 12th and 13th of June 2021

2021 marks 60 years since the launch of the iconic Jaguar E-Type. Few cars have won such acclaim or have had such long-lasting appeal as the E-Type, so it is only proper that we celebrate this milestone in style. To that end the Jaguar E-Type Club are hosting E-Type 60 at Shelsley Walsh Hillclimb.

Taking place on the weekend of the 12th and 13th June 2021, E-Type 60 will a jam-packed classic car show celebrating all things E-Type. In addition to a huge gathering of Jaguar E-Types, the XK Club will be in attendance in force along with C-Types, D-Types and even F-Types. So, this will be an unrivalled assembly classic Jaguars.

In addition to classic car displays, exhibitors and technical talks in the E-Type 60 theatre there will be a competitive hillclimb operation over the weekend. Having been up the hillclimb in an XK120 at XK70 I can testify that it is a challenging and exciting course which will offer some real motorsport excitment.

Beyond classic cars there will be live music with '60s and '70s tribute bands, craft stalls and a glamour parlour. Having attended XK70 I assure you this will be a busy weekend with plenty going on to entertain the whole family. XK70 had a fun, relaxed, festival atmosphere which I am sure will be built on by E-Type 60.

As a lead sponsor of E-Type 60, Twyford Moors will be in attendance with both E-Types and XKs on display around the site. We will also have a stand where we will be on hand to discuss everything from restorations to modifications and upgrades.
