E-Type 60 at Shelsley Walsh 12th and 13th of June 2021
With under a week to go until E-Type 60 at Shelsley Walsh we wanted to take an opportunity to wet you appetite with what we will have on display at the show. E-type 60 is being put on by the E-Type Club to mark 60 years since the launch of the iconic Jaguar E-Type. Taking place on the weekend of the 12th and 13th June 2021, E-Type 60 will a jam-packed classic car show celebrating all things E-Type. In addition to a huge gathering of Jaguar E-Types, the XK Club will be in attendance in force along with C-Types, D-Types and even F-Types. So, this will be an unrivalled assembly classic Jaguars.
As lead sponsors of E-Type 60, Twyford Moors are delighted to be displaying an array of cars across the site. We will have a stand in the exhibitors' area should you wish to come and have a chat with us, Ian will be taking part in panels in the theater alongside some of the most knowledgeable E-Type experts the UK has to offer and Nik will be taking part in the competitive hill climb.
We will publish more about each of these cars in the near future but here's the line-up we will be taking to E-Type 60:
'Old Number 8' SS100 - probably the most famous racing SS100 which competed at Shelsley Walsh in 1939
Jaguar E-Type Series 1 which we are fully restoring. The painted bodyshell will be unvailed at the show
Stirilng Moss Jaguar XK120 - He used this car in the 1950s to tow his caravan to racing events. Twyford Moor recently reunited it with its original chassis
Jaguar D-Type Replica - Our director, Nik Rochez, will be competing in the hill climb in this D-Type. It will be his first time driving the car in an event.
