Twyford Moors at The Goodwood Revival 2019

The Goodwood Revival was simply stunning this year. The weather was wonderful and I suspect this resulted in record breaking attendance. The atmosphere was extraordinary and everyone was on top form.

We had our usual stand "across the road" with cars for sale and where we spent time catching up with customers. We also spent some time gaining new customers by repairing the odd European Jaguar having troubles on their visit over. The year was a little different for us.

New for us was working with our long-time customer who was displaying his 1939 DC3 aircraft in the Freddie March Spirit of Aviation with our fully restored aluminium bodied Jaguar XK120 OTS. We were delighted to hear that the DC3 won Best in Field in the Freddie March Spirit of Aviation. We will do a follow up article on the DC3 and its connection to the XK120 but for now I will simply say that driving to Goodwood in an XK is a wonderful experience but flying in in a 1930's aircraft was something else!

Thank you to everyone who came to visit us at the Revival and to all the Goodwood team for putting on such a spectacular event. Until next year.
