It has been a couple of weeks since the Revival and the dust has now settled. We had hoped to post these photos sooner but it has been rather a busy couple of weeks. What a fabulous weekend it was! It was a joy to be back at what has to be the greatest classic car event in the world.
We had a very enjoyable weekend on the stand catching up with customers and suppliers as well as making new friends. We were delighted to host the Historic and Classic Vehicle Alliance (HCVA) who are doing wonderful work to promote and protect the interests of the classic car industry. We were joined by the lovely Shân Stokes and Henry Pearman (of Eagle E-Types) for the full weekend to promote the wonderful work the HCVA are doing and sign up new members.
We were lucky to have one of the younger members of the Twyford Moors team on the stand keeping the cars clean. He didn't spend the whole weekend on the stand and did manage to enjoy the funfair and ice cream along with taking in the racing.
After several long months, we were also pleased to award Patrick Hanratty with a cup he won many months ago at E-Type 60. He was awarded the 'Spirit of the XK' prize but was unable to accept the award on the day.
Thank you to all those who came by to visit us over the weekend and thank you to all the team at Goodwood for putting on such a fabulous event. We look forward to next year.
