A group of sensational Jaguar E-types, the world's favourite sports car, will be taking part in the 'E-type Club ROUND BRITAIN COASTAL DRIVE, supporting Prostate Cancer UK'.

Over 160 beautiful E-type Jaguars from around the world will be participating in the 18-day, 3,600-mile event. Some will be doing just one stage, others all 18.

This event, which is believed to be unique, is the brainchild of author Philip Porter who recently recovered from prostate cancer. He will be driving the entire route in his red E-type convertible, 848 CRY, which appeared in the iconic film, The Italian Job.

Supporters of the RBCD include Jools Holland, Brian Johnson, Jeremy Clarkson, Martin Brundle, Murray Walker and F1 legend Ross Brawn who will be driving one of his E-types on two stages.

The Drive starts and ends at Goodwood. On Monday Sept 12, five-time Le Mans winner Derek Bell will flag away 70 cars as they drive up the famous hill-climb. The event concludes with a lap of the famous circuit on Sept 29.

Nik Rochez (Twyford Moors Director) and Ian Mills (Twyford Moors General Manager) joined the E-Types for their first day on the road from Goodwood to Lyme Regis. The route stated with a trip up the famous Goodwood hill climb and then on though the costal towns of West Sussex, Hamshire and Dorset. The event even made it onto BBC South Today.

We wish them the best of luck for the rest of the trip and look forward to joining them for the final leg from Folkstone to Goodwood.
