Mike Hawthorn Memorial Track Day – Goodwood Motor Circuit – Wednesday 3rd June 2026

After a year’s absence, the Mike Hawthorn Memorial Track Day returns to the Goodwood Motor Circuit on Wednesday 3rd June 2026, and we are delighted to once again be sponsoring and displaying at this very special event.
Held on the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit, the track day offers owners the rare opportunity to enjoy their cars on one of the most evocative circuits in the world, while celebrating the life and achievements of one of Britain’s greatest racing drivers. As in previous years, the emphasis is firmly on a relaxed, friendly and inclusive atmosphere that reflects the very best of the classic car community.
The event is open to any roadworthy or race-eligible motorcar, whether modern, classic or replica, and welcomes all marques. Previous Mike Hawthorn Memorial Track Days have featured everything from early Jaguar saloons and XKs through to later E-Types and modern performance cars, all sharing the circuit in a spirit of enthusiasm rather than competition. With a maximum of just 60 cars on track, generous track time is assured throughout the day.

For 2026, the on-track action will be complemented by a special gathering of former Tommy Sopwith Equipe Endeavour Team cars. The Equipe Endeavour team was active from the mid-1950s through to the early 1960s and is closely associated with some of the most iconic British racing machinery of the period. While best known for its 3.4-litre Jaguar saloon race cars, the team campaigned a wide variety of machinery over the years, including MK2 Jaguars, E-Types, Aston Martins and others. The team enjoyed considerable success with drivers such as Tommy Sopwith himself, Jack Sears, Ivor Bueb, Mike Parkes, Graham Hill and Stirling Moss. This display promises to be a real highlight for spectators and participants alike.
The day is suitable for drivers of all experience levels, including novices, with guidance and instruction available from the experienced Goodwood and ARDS teams. A generous 105dB noise limit means that most cars will be eligible, including road-going XKs and E-Types. The event is fully marshalled, with professional briefing and safety procedures in place to ensure an enjoyable and well-run day for everyone involved.

Spectators are very welcome, with free unrestricted admission, making this an ideal opportunity to enjoy motorsport at Goodwood in a more relaxed setting than the larger headline events. Hospitality is also available, with an optional pre-booked buffet lunch served in the Jackie Stewart Pavilion during the midday break.
With numbers strictly limited and places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, early application is strongly recommended. We are very much looking forward to supporting the return of this excellent event and to another memorable day at Goodwood celebrating Mike Hawthorn, his era, and the cars that defined it.
