Twyford Moors on TV – Salvage Hunters: The Restorers

Almost exactly 12 months ago we had a visit from the lovely team from Salvage Hunters: The Restorers. Experts Shinchan and Tim were working on a project to convert an Austin J40 pedal car into a Jaguar XK150-inspired racer. They spent an afternoon with Ian Mills, touring our workshop and filming. Ian guided them through what he considered to be the quintessential characteristics required to create a race-specification XK150 look and then took them for a test drive to give them a flavour of what these wonderful cars are about. It was a pleasure to meet the team and to see the finished article.
