Jaguar XK140 DHC LHD 1955 - SOLD

This Jaguar XK140 drophead coupe is an original SE specification car which matching numbers through, overdrive gearbox and the very desirable C-Type cylinder head. The car was originally supplied to R. S. Scholes of Brooklyn, New York, USA.
 
The car underwent an extensive programme of improvement work at Twyford Moors in 2010. This included a rewire, re-veneering of all the wood work., interior and hood re-trim, polyurethane suspension bushes, adjustable shock absorbers, pedal box, front disc brake conversion, electric cooling fan, header tank, electronic ignition and an alternator. This XK also benefits from electronic power steering.
 
Finished in black with a red interior and black painted wire wheels this car is very well presented and features all the upgrades one could want for reliable driving. This XK140 would make an ideal continental tourer.
