This Jaguar XK150 3.4 S Fixed Head Coupé is an original UK right-hand drive car, making it one of just 86 examples built. The car was manufactured in May 1959 and supplied new by Ashmores of West Bromwich to an F. Wills. It still retains its original registration number, WEA 20.
Little is known about the early life of this car. It remains in its original colour scheme of Pearl Grey with a red interior. At some point the car was converted to left-hand drive and remains in that configuration today. We believe the car spent several years in Italy, but it is now UK-registered.
The car requires recommissioning work and is being offered as-is, either for an enthusiastic owner to complete themselves or for us to recommission on the buyer’s behalf. The car runs and drives; however, a number of mechanical items require attention, including a full fluid change, tuning work, and replacement of various ball joints and bearings.
Structurally, the car appears sound, although the paintwork is tired and the car has acquired some rather unusual additional indicators over the years.
This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a rare and highly desirable XK150 S at a very sensible price. The car offers huge scope for improvement, allowing the next owner to really put their own stamp on it.
