Jaguar XK150 1958 - featured in the film "Scandal" - SOLD

This Jaguar XK150 is an original UK, right hand drive car. It started life as a fixedhead coupe and was converted to a drophead during an extensive restoration in the 1980s. The car has been well maintained since its restoration and been used sparingly for shows and tours. An extensive history file is present with the car which includes the original buff log book, much paper work dating back to its restoration and documenting work carried out since then and information about this cars film career.

In 1989 this Jaguar XK150 featured prominently in "Scandal" a film about the Profumo scandal 1963. In real life Stephen Ward owned and drove a white Jaguar XK150 so the correct car was sourced for the film. In the film John Hurt played Stephen Ward and drove this car. The history file includes on set photos of the car, magazine articles and a VHS video tape of the film. For more information about the cars part in the film please click here.

This XK150 is in smart and usable condition with a nice patina to the interior. The body work and chrome are all in good order and the car drives very nicely. This is a very usable XK with an interesting history.
